A baker’s life is not for the faint hearted! While you’re thinking about heading to your scratcher, our night bakers are just getting started making all our artisan bread, rolls, cakes, donuts and pies that will be on our shelves come 6:30am the next day.

The bakehouse, at the back of the shop in Crieff is where it all happens. Our bakers work literally day and night to continually stock our two shops and deliver to our wholesale customers. At night, the bakers make mainly fermented products (bread and rolls) and that day’s savouries. In the day, the bakers make all the sweet things such as cakes and biscuits as well as prepare things for the nightshift.
