By booking any of our courses you agree to abide by our terms and conditions.
All classes are held in our bakehouse at the back of our shop at 59 King Street, Crieff.
All ingredients, utensils, equipment, recipes, aprons and afternoon tea are provided for all Saturday afternoon courses. You will be taking home A LOT of baking. Please bring at least two large carrier bags. We reserve the right to make amendments to course content and recipes without notice.
All participants must be over the age of 16 at the time of the class.
Health & safety
All participants should wear shoes with flat, non-slip soles and covered toes. We cannot admit you into our bakehouse without proper footwear. We recommend wearing sensible clothing (short sleeves and layers are good) and are not liable for any damage that occurs to clothing.
If you have been or are suffering from food poisoning or an upset stomach (or have come into contact with anybody who is exhibiting these symptoms) within 48 hours of the course, we would ask that you not to attend and contact ourselves.
All open wounds must be covered, ideally with a blue plaster. If you don’t have a blue plaster, let us know on arrival and we will be happy to provide one.
Special dietary requirements & food allergies
We are unable to tailor our course content for special dietary requirements. Please inform us in advance of any allergies, disabilities, diabetes, pregnancy, epilepsy, learning difficulties etc.
Please arrive at our shop at 59 King Street 5 minutes before the class is scheduled to begin. Our courses are packed with as much baking as we can possibly fit into them, so starting on time is crucial. As a result, it is essential you arrive promptly for your course.
If you are late, please be aware that the class may have started. Wherever possible, we will allow you to join in, however if you have missed essential parts of the class, this may not be an option. A refund will not be provided in this instance.
All payment must be made in full at the time of booking. We do not take provisional bookings and cannot confirm your place on a course until we receive full payment.
Delivery – Courses & Gift Vouchers
Upon successful completion of an online order with us you will receive confirmation of your order by email to the email address provided by you. Gift Voucher codes will also be sent via email and you will be able to download a PDF of a gift voucher at this time. Without the voucher code, the recipient will not be able to redeem the gift voucher).
Gift vouchers can be redeemed against any class on the website. All courses are subject to availability and confirmation from Campbell’s Bakery. Baking class gift vouchers can only be redeemed for classes not for products. No cash alternative is available.
Campbell’s Bakery will not accept responsibility for the loss of any personal possessions.
Acceptable usage of course content
Recipe booklets and reference materials are provided to help participants and are issued for personal use only. The sharing of course materials by print, press, photocopy, email, blogs, internet or any digital transfer medium is strictly prohibited without the express written permission of Iain Campbell. If in doubt, please ask about what is and isn’t acceptable usage.
To request a cancellation you must provide Campbell’s Bakery with written notice via email. Unless you have received acknowledgement from us that we have received your request, you cannot consider your request delivered. You may only terminate the contract in the circumstances set out below:
Course cancellations more than 14 days from of the start of your course.
You may request a change of course date up to 14 days before the start of the course and we will happily transfer you to another course date, subject to availability, without cost.
You may also request a refund up to 14 days before the start of the course you have booked.
Course cancellations within 14 days of the start of your course
Most bookings for courses at Campbell’s Bakery are made months in advance. It is therefore often hard for us to resell any places within 14 days of the start of the course, and any cancellations within this time can result in lost revenue that affect the ability of Campbell’s Bakery to deliver quality courses.
If you wish to reschedule your course within 14 days of the start date, we will accommodate you, however a processing fee of £15 will be charged.
If you wish to cancel your booking within 14 days of your course, you will forfeit your course fees. If we are able to resell your place, we will reimburse you with your course fee minus a processing fee of £15; however, if we are unable to resell your place, you will not be reimbursed.
If a person that is booked on a course fails to attend for any reason, they will not be entitled to a refund or a rebooking of another course.
We strongly recommend travel insurance that will cover your costs in the event of you being unable to attend your course.
Travel insurance will cover you for many issues that may prevent you from attending your course such as illness, sickness of an immediate relative, travel disruption etc.
Refunds are not available on gift voucher purchases, nor can gift vouchers be exchanged for cash or other goods. Gift vouchers are transferable, so if you are unable to make your course, you may contact us to nominate a replacement. Gift vouchers are valid for 1 year from their date of purchase.
Cancellations by Campbell’s Bakery
Campbell’s Bakery is entitled to cancel any course at any time subject to the repayment of any deposit and fees received in respect of the course or the part of the course which has been cancelled.
In the unlikely event of cancellation of a course by ourselves, we undertake to offer a suitable transfer to an alternative date or course, or a full refund (within 14 days) of any course fees.
We cannot be held liable for any third-party costs, such as travel bookings or accommodation with hotels other than our own.
No refund will be made if you fail to attend all or any part of a course (and Campbell’s Bakery is unable to reallocate your place).
All refunds are made to the source of the initial payment, ie. fees paid by a credit card can only be refunded to the same card.
We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.
