Create your very own fluffy Scotch pancakes at home with our special blend of pancake mix.
Simply add the full contents of the bag (500g) into a mixing bowl.
Weigh 50g vegetable oil and 430g water in a jug.
Add the oil and water to the mix and carefully whisk together until smooth.
Heat a teaspoon of vegetable oil in a large heavy based frying pan on medium heat.
Spread the oil around using a piece of kitchen roll to evenly coat the pan.
Deposit the pancake batter onto the frying pan for your desired size.
When bubbles appear in the batter, carefully lift the side of the pancake to see the colour. It should be a nice golden brown.
Carefully flip the pancake and cook for the same amount of time on the other side.
Why not experiment a little and add chocolate chips, berries, bananas... whatever you fancy.
Finish with a pat of butter and maple syrup or jam and enjoy!
