You don't need to go back in time to learn how Mrs Fitz would have made her famous bannocks at Castle Leoch!
We welcome small groups into our bakery to gather around the large working table
and follow 7th generation master baker, Iain Campbell, step-by-step through a recipe
gaining a unique insight into the craft and heritage of Scottish baking.
While the baking is in the oven, the class is treated to afternoon tea and cake
and given a wee tour of the bakery.
Participants take away their own handmade baking in travel-friendly packs
to bring home from their trip – if they don’t eat them first!
