Campbell's Baking Experiences

Join us in our family’s working bakery where we share our tricks of the trade to making Scottish classics such as melt-in-your-mouth shortbread, rough and ready oatcakes and our award-winning Selkirk Bannock. 

Classes are fun and completely tailored to your group – perfect for small groups of friends, families or visitors looking for an authentic experience with a local touch they will remember for years to come.

Each class is approximately 2 hours long (depending on how many are in the group) and takes place any afternoon between 1:30–5pm. 

Group size is 4–8 people. Suitable for ages 16+ years. No baking experience is necessary.

Soft but delicious

I've recently had a wonderful experience learning how to bake Scottish classics such as oatcakes and Selkirk Bannock. Even with zero baking experience, Isla & Iain managed to turn me into a baker for the day. This skill can now be continued and expanded upon at home. Not only do you get a bag full of your baking home with you, the class is full of interesting history and general baking tips, with no questions too daft.
This is a thoroughly entertaining and educational class that proves to be all too quick. However, in case you cant remember all of what you were taught, the recipes are E-mailed to you for later review. Definitely a recommend.
